Directly located at a small pond in Caminata close to Campo Tures, the Thara Seelounge is a modern, curved building made of glass and wood. This place is not only a popular rest point for cyclists and walkers, also fishermen meet on the sunny terrace to talk shop while pulling out a big one on the fishing-rod.
The Thara Seelounge is a cafè and a restaurant at the same time, close-by there is a playground used by families and a beach volleyball court for the more active ones. The offer is completed by breakfast buffets, cozy Sunday brunches, DJ sets on mild summer evenings as well as large and small private events such as wedding receptions and birthday parties.
In order to satisfy the various needs and changing conditions, making optimal use of space, Sternbach develops a multifunctional furniture system in the tried and tested collaboration with Georg Agostini from Hache carpentry. The modular system is captivating thanks to its simplicity and its sophistication and can be adapted to the various events and changing weather in a flexible and quick way, offering the guests the relaxing comfort in any kind of situation – a comfort that guests take for granted in such a hip hotspot by the lake.
Lounge sofas with a natural nonchalance, matching simple coffee tables on which people can also eat, ample sideboards and a DJ stand are the elements of this furniture series which can be newly combined and moved easily without effort. The wood furniture parts are designed in a simplistic way, with a lot of care for the detail (such as storage space for the cushions) and radiate an inviting and uncomplicated charisma.
